Creative Assembly is the brainchild of Mark Reinhart, the co-founder of The Walt Disney Company.
The studio’s focus is to create the next generation of game creators.
Reinhart has been a member of the creative community for more than 25 years, and has developed more than 100 games.
In addition to The Walt Walt Disney Co., he is also a founder of the digital entertainment company CreativityWorks, where he is leading the design of new experiences for the entertainment industry.
Today, the studio is expanding its creative talent with the hiring of a new Creative Director, who will serve as the studio’s creative consultant.
This appointment will enable the company to focus on more high-quality, award-winning creative work.
“We are excited to bring on this new member of our creative team,” said Mark Reinhardt, Chairman of The Disney Company, Inc. “I am proud of the work we have already been able to accomplish with Mark’s incredible team, and I’m confident that the results we are seeing will drive our team to achieve even more.”
“Mark Reinhart’s work on The Disney Story and Disney Infinity 3.0 have made a name for himself at the company, and we are excited that he is joining our team as our creative consultant,” said Dan Hensley, Creative Director of The Mouse House.
“As the studio continues to grow and mature, we are pleased to welcome him to the team to help create and implement the next wave of high-level game experiences.”
Creative Assembly’s creative talent is the foundation of Disney Infinity, its next-generation game system, which is set to launch in March 2018.
